Periodic inspections according to DGUV-V

What is electrical equipment? 

According to ยง2 (1) of DGUV Regulation 3, "electrical equipment within the meaning of the accident prevention regulation is all objects that are used as a whole or in individual parts to apply electrical energy (e.g. objects for generating, transmitting, distributing, storing, measuring, converting and consuming) or for transmitting, distributing and processing information (e.g. objects for telecommunications and information technology)." 

It is usually divided into the following four categories: 
  • Portable electrical equipment
  • Stationary electrical equipment
  • Electrical installations
  • Electrical machines

As the operator, you naturally want your employees to only work on technically flawless and tested electrical devices, equipment and systems.
