Initial commissioning, initial tests and recurring tests (repeat tests)

To ensure the safety of the operators of your machines and systems, electro-sensitive protective equipment (ESPE) is sometimes used for safety functions.
As the operator, you are obliged to test these ESPE (light barriers, light curtains, laser scanners) at regular intervals.
The initial inspection and repeat inspections can be carried out by external experts.
We are happy to carry out these tests for you.

You benefit from:
  • Employee safety:
  • Detection of safety deficiencies
  • Elimination of safety deficiencies
  • Reduction of accident risks
Process safety:
  • Ensuring productivity, availability and output of the system through regular inspections and repairs
  • Legal certainty:
  • Proof of inspections on comprehensible and clear protocols or entries in the press inspection logbook
  • Attachment of an inspection sticker if the inspection is passed
  • Proof of the inspection obligation (BetrSichV, TRBS, DGUV) at all times through logs or entries in the press inspection logbook and safety sticker
  • Of course, we also carry out these tests on other industrial systems that have an ESPE installed as a protective device.
  • We are also happy to advise you on the safety-compliant selection for retrofitting electro-sensitive protective equipment.

Testing of electro-sensitive protective equipment (ESPE) on power-driven metalworking presses in accordance with ZH 1/281, 1980 edition, version 03/2006 or in accordance with DIN EN 61496-1:2014-05; VDE 0113-201:2014-05 - Safety of machinery - Electro-sensitive protective equipment - Part 1: General requirements and tests
Determination of overtravel values and required safety distances in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13855

Testing of the correct electrical integration into the control system, taking into account the safety level defined in the risk assessment in accordance with the Machinery Directive.
